floR and I went to fairly length efforts to recover the bots2.net domain back in April this year right around when it was falling out of the ICANN grace period, but unfortunately we failed. This is a bummer because it generated a substantial amount of referral traffic, likely from long-lost bots2 players learning of bots4. I even shelled out $60 for one of those domain sniper services, but a 10+ year old domain is a pretty hot commodity. I've since sent an email to the address listed in the new whois to see if they were interested in selling, but never heard back. |
