with this energy stuff, is the clan i am in best positioned to "decide" who wins the month?


if we attack only aflac but spare armageddon bots, that would help arma alot, wouldnt it? and works the other way around also.

The point is the winning clans bots will be so godlike that they can't be raped xD though the energy adv from attacking means that you will always be able to rape (provided bots are both optimal) of course there could be a rock paper scissors mechanic in which case yes we get to decide who wins :D

the only downside will be that everyone will build the same bots.
like every guy i fight now has either mauls or scarabs. and this will be the case in every lvl category. conned conqs to answerers to conned answerers bla bla bla.

Nor 132 souls.

remember that now you are not fighting ratio 0.1 bot, its always from 0.8 to 3.0+, meaning that we will level ALOT faster, meaning that conned answerers will be good, but they will be eaten alive next month when you level and get to deal with well done mega maul build.

its gonna be awesome :D my second bot came from 10000 to 8000 energy today. i recovered most of the energy my clan lost while raping bots from the same clan, so mostly, we stayed on same level with score.

alan with what exactly were you planning to beat a 140 soul build with like 1500 hp?
please let me know so i can build that:p

maybe dread dealers can get a shot into that?

I think threads like this are a perfect of example of how the game is complicated enough that there really aren't clear and obvious "best" builds. Sure you can distinguish "crappy" and "decent", but players aren't unanimously pointing at a single build and agreeing that it just owns all. Scrolling through any thread in the questions/hints subforums reveals similar discussions.

That being said, I have some long-term plans on being able to differentiate builds somewhat, but that's much further down the road (post-release).

Random still means your souls will lose. ;)

random also means a soul bot won the tourney like 40 times in a row on bots2.

i didnt mention souls anywhere...i did mention mega mauls and dread dealers tho :P
