People are back in school, it's that time of year. Kind of feel like a lot of players are burnt out though, or moved on to greener pastures. Ender has yet to add any major updates since his change to EPH much ago.

Zal was right, it's starting to feel a little nostalgic around here. Reminds me of when floR lost interest.

It's not often that I see less than ten bots online, and I am not active during USA or EU times, so I don't think activity levels have changed much in a loooong time.

As far as "what has happened to this game". I'd have to say, massive technological developments since it's original release have created an online gaming atmosphere that has reduced it's ability to gain new or retain players and it serves nowadays only to fulfill a need in certain addicted players.

The game gains activity when major changes take place, even if the majority of the players are against it. I don't click a fight or train again link since a long time ago and I still don't feel motivated to do so. Maybe it's because of the changes that happened in my personal life recently but I have to say I felt curiosity to try the new lady showroom thing. That made me think to play again, that's what I want to point out.

tl;dr - in my opinion activity depends on major changes brought usually by updates to the game.

I didn't readily make that connection as it's not really a game update, as it's designed to encourage use of chat.

Hah, I wish I'd been playing GTA5 this whole time. I want to, but I'll probably wait for the price to come down. My recent inactivity here has just been a result of being busy with the usual suspects - work/life.

Oh, and since people apparently notice my absence, I'm going on vacation in two days for a week, so I'll be around infrequently, if at all. I will try to do the September end-of-month update remotely.
