Yep. Read it too. There's a ton of sequels also. I mean, it's been out since 1985 but never received much attention in comparison to other science fiction from the 80s. But it's common for Hollywood to make movies 20-30 years after the science fiction book was made. 1965 - Dune was published. 1984 - Dune movie. 1985 - Ender's Game published. 2013 - Finally a damn movie. Too bad so many of them suck lol. Here's a nice list of sci fi novels not made into movies yet: http://www.toplessrobot.com/2012/04/8greatsci-finovelsthathaventbeenmadeinto_t.php I read Stranger in a Strange Land and I give it all the thumbs up of a 1,000 handed space alien. |

Or perhaps you could use that time to move to Japan and win a pig in Counter Strike 2. Because Jans has not been putting out the funny shit for awhile. I myself don't know if I'll go to the movie, maybe wait for reviews. |
|
why move to Japan when the add is for Korea? |

Great book, read it years ago. The sequels are NOTHING like the original, and go very weird. I like the book about Bean, "Enders' Shadow" best, it's a lot darker. And there is a collection of short stories about Enders parents I recommend you read for a real mind fuck, that government.....
Movie looks like a typical holly wood butchering, looks like there are JSF's for some reason, and lasers, the weapons in the book the "Little Doctor" cause atoms to lose coherency. Looks pretty freaking cool though. |

Sorry about that, I meant Korea. From the three reviews I've seen of the movie so far, they're all in the 3 out of 5 range. 67% so far on Rotten Tomatoes (http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/enders-game/reviews/) Looks like Ender might be disappointed :( Ya, the sequels are random. I wish they made -some- linear sense in at least their order. It also doesn't help that Scott also makes a sequel and then makes another sequel to the events that happen in between the sequels like 20 years later. Leave something to the imagination man. Last one I read was Earth Unaware. Pretty good read, funny as all hell. I actually enjoyed it more for the comedy value than Ender's Game altogether really. |

If anybody watches the movie lemme know how it is |

Harry Potter meets Star Wars, hahaha, worst slogan ever to promote a movie. I think i'll skip the movie and read the book :) |
|
Watch the movie first, then read the book. That was you'll get Micheal Bay pew pew explosions and Harrison Ford action Ender, and then then good version too. |
|
Just finished Enders shadow, it's just as good as Enders game |
|
I recently watch the movie. Nice story :) |
