Kay so I love Yu-Gi-Oh. Is there any other fans on here? Got my own folder full of cards and everything ^.^

I prefer Pokemon.

Both programmes was pretty cool when i was younger, I tend not to watch either now because of them changing pokemons and monsters

I used to be a YuGi-Oh fan but I don't collect the cards anymore. I have 1st editions of Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh, Magic the Gathering and that's about it. I mostly stopped collecting because my friends did. I used to beat their asses all the time though. I've tried playing the online versions but Yu-Gi-Oh seems far too stupid now. You can summon a 5k atk monster on your first turn without even summoning a damn monster beforehand and here I am just playing the old "I'll play a 1.8k or 2k or so atk or def 4 star monster".

The first Yu-Gi-Oh card I remember getting is an Elf with like 2k defense.

I play Magic the gathering now.

In comparison that we're talking about this kind of stuff, has anybody here watched a bit of the Youtube Abridged series of Yu-Gi-Oh/Pokemon etc.? Funny stuff. So much so I had a temptation to make all my replies in videos of them but people rarely click on my links I believe hehe.

What's your earliest Magic cards Ville? I have some Alphas up to uh, Genesis? I think. Something like that. As for Pokemon cards I have Kangaskhan and Alakazam and all of them from the original series :) I sold some of them off a long time ago though.

The Pokemon trading card game was awesome, I'd probably still play it if I had it. Anytime it got boring I'd just restart and go again

A buddy and I used to play Yu-Gi-oh back in 6th grade. I had a really good 100 card deck, he had like 1000 cards. 2x2. We won all the time. It was pretty fun. I played a few Yu-Gi-Oh games on Gameboy SP. I always like the TV shows of Yu-Gi-Oh over Pokemon. Digimon > Pokemon.

Gameplay howeber, Pokemon wins hands down.
