Want some potato chips with all that salt? You don't need to donate to get your hands on some stars. You also don't need stars to freak a bot, it just makes it easier.

Zal see results of category 91-100. Those dumpers are not freaked and came close to the top. For this level, regular builds are close to the best ;)

However regular builds are boring. They are sooo easy to discover which one is the best. Freaking adds a whole new level of builds complexity which is excellent for this game in where the best builds are a bit easy to come up with and it's always possible to make them, this is, there isn't any rare items that only a few players have, everybody can buy the same items and jane just makes it easier.

No need for the long explanations guys, I was just being bitter for fun. I was just doing a small experiment to find out how my regular bots did. I knew they'd lose because they weren't top level in their categories and as far as I know Ender's tournament formula doesn't adjust for difference in con and level (say one bot is 95 and one is 100, the 100 bot of course has +200 HP and will win, but if there were maybe a formula to account for that, they'd be equal). Essentially there is no point in categories in tournaments as the highest level bot in the category will normally win it. You may as well have the categories as just level 50, 60, 70, 80 etc other than category 1.

Freaking adds variety to builds but it also adds restrictions of course. I know I don't have to buy stars to get stars, but without stars as a whole you can't freak a bot properly and you have little to no chance in the tournament. And level 100 is a bad example since answerers are OP as all hell lol.

As for the dick sucking thing, well, that was just fun to write.

Fine, how about you can't maintain a freaked bot without stars? You could possibly buy all your freak gear, then buy your normal gear 1 at a time (I did this myself), and when your armours are out of durability etc., rebuy your freak gear and items again.

It's not impossible, just more time consuming. Whereas operating normal bots takes a bit less work since you don't need to buy an extra set of items (maybe at first, but not after you have your main items).

So, did I make it right, is your OCD satisfied?

Tournament bots don't need to be maintained. I too have made a freaked bot without stars during beta and while it wasn't fun, it was very rewarding. So yea, like we both said it's more tedious without stars, but by no means impossible. Now that we have Jane however, it'd be much more bearable than before as well.

I'm not sure what my OCD has to do with trying to argue about the state of builds in bots, but ok. You really need to relax man, you get worked up really easily.

You're really melodramatic over petty things, all I did was say you can make freaked bots without stars and that was part of your response. If you think I'm the one who's difficult to talk to, how do you think it feels responding to lines like those?
