I wanna see what people think, which one is better to use. Crow caw has more defense, but Iron pelt gives more points. Intelligence is irrelevant here.

discuss :)

I'd go with Iron Pelt purely for the con (:

i like to think of armors calculating their total bonus points, and then thinking of any more points a armor has as a con point.

so as iron pelt has 17 points plus, and crow caw has 14 points plus, is that 3 points of con (30hp) worth more than 40 defense and resulting percentage in absorb u get.

did anyone test it?

3 more con is better than 40 defense till kevlars or so. Haven't done exact calculations but... ;)

yes.

also by looking at armors, i found a weird stuff.

look at goblin toe. then look at next shoes that are better, its blood bather, and they both give 7 points in stats, but blood bother gives 8 more defense.

8 more defense for cca 85 more str? makes sense to anyone?

if you count -2 int into stats, then yes, they both give +7 stats. But...I wouldn't count armor negative stat bonus as "giving" stat, so b.bather>goblin toe in all ways.

Manic cranium is not better than hpol helm.

Also, iron pelt is better than crow caw.
But, Unless I had 160str, I would use iron pelt.

Then, until 235 str I'd use spirit forge.

There are a lot of variables to consider when making such a comparison. That said, one can make a fair assumption as to which armour is superior looking purely at absorb, constitution and opponent average hit.

This actually brings up an important point about not choosing the most obvious armour (I.e. the one with the highest strength requirement) to anybody interested in ‘perfect’ builds and tourneys. Think about it ;)
