I enjoy keeping up with the gaming news of the day even though all I got is this PC, a PS3, and a Vita (ok, i got a ton of other systems but they are fairly irrelevant nowadays), so I thought I'd make a thread with daily updates from the day from the gaming world/my experiences/your experiences. So feel free to talk about whatever you want so long as you don't give away any spoilers.

So today, here's what's happened so far today on March 7th, 2016:

1) Microsoft has canceled Fable Legends and is thinking about shutting down the iconic Lionhead Studios. That sucks man, that just sucks. I've played Fable 1 and it was a darn good game. On top of Microsoft shutting down Phantom Dust and pissing off their own developers on the PC front (Epic Games), things are starting to look sad for exclusive games :(

2) Overwatch has accidentally been leaked for a release date of May 24th with an open beta taking place on May 3rd, 2016. It was accidentally leaked by an ad on IGN. Now I can finally get in and play!

3) Personal thing, I bought Resident Evil 2/3/Raccoon City/Revelations 1 for the PS3/Vita. They were on sale ^_^

If you guys want I can compile a listing of weekly PSN/Nintendo/Xbox/PC sales and releases. Maybe not full sales for Steam sales though, that would take forever and this forum would explode.

One other thing comes out today (atleast one thing I´m kinda looking forward too).

The 3rd DLC for TESO is downloading as we speak :) Time to start stealing shit.

Cool Benny ^_^ I haven't play that many online games even though I did finally start buying Steam games a few months ago. Got any free to plays or anything you would suggest? I'm not that much into paying subscription fees. That's why I never bought any stars on either bots2 or bots4 and you ended up almost single handedly buying this game in stars xD

Btw, my favorite new PC game I've bought so far has got to be Command & Conquer Red Alert 3. So funny and fun.

In other news, Sniper Elite 4 is being released this year. Overwatch's open beta will last from May 5th-9th. Also, "Pre-ordering also entitles Xbox One and PS4 players to a "two-day head start" for the open beta, as well as a friend invite."

Mind you I still think it stinks that the game isn't free-to-play like Heroes of the Storm :(

It's been a day or two and a fair bit of stuff has happened. So here I go:

Zelda Wii U's director talked a bit about the game in Famitsu. When asked about where they are in the process, he said "When we did Skyward Sword for the Wii, at the end stages of development, I was in charge of the characters’ dialogue and the in-game text. And, now as well, it’s like it was then. I had to work on text today, too.â€. Also, he said “But, the game has really taken shape, and things have gotten easier. That means things are progressing well.†and “Please look forward to it, because I think we’ll be able to make ‘something new’ like Ocarina of Time wasâ€.

DOOM's closed beta starts on May 13th.

A new Worms game was announced for the PS4 called Worms W.M.D.. I'm sure it'll come to other platforms as well.

1 more day until new Nintendo Selects come out. I haven't owned a Nintendo console since the GameCube though.

The LittleBigPlanet studio Sumo Digital is taking over development of Dead Island 2.

And that's about all that's been interesting to me the past couple of days.

I know it's been awhile but today is the Final Fantasy XV Uncovered event. It's coming up pretty soon, but GameSpot has already released a video on its release date if you want to see it. It's private now though mind you. Just have a look if you can't wait ;)

I'll be watching the event if I can anyway. Just cuz of the visuals hehe.
