Imagine being at a car showroom and the dealer said it costs £2000, then someone let's you (and any potential buyer) know that although it is the customers choice to buy it, he thinks it is not worth the £2000 and that he could be getting ripped off. Personally, I'd thank him for the tip and re-evaluate.

I never said you were making people buy, but yes, you DID tell people what to bid, the first post infact says that the current bid was 7 stars, with no mention whatsoever where it came from and many would assume the bid is fictional so that you can state what price you would like them to go at.
