What are stars?
Stars are rewards for those that contribute financially to bots4. The game was made and is run by just one person, so this helps offset my time and money that I've invested. It also helps me get closer to my goal of becoming a full-time indie game developer. :)
What are the benefits?
Stars give you extra stash spaces and allow you to place orders in the showroom. Instead of waiting and camping for a particular item, you have the option of placing an item on reserve. The details depend on how many stars you have:

Can you explain this ordering thing some more?
Sure. Suppose you have 4 stars. This qualifies you for 2-day non-unique ordering and 4-day unique ordering. When you go to the showroom now, you'll have the option to order an item for a small fee. After the specified amount of time has passed, that item will become available for purchase in the showroom (and only to you).
Are stars transferrable?
Yes, you can move stars between bots. There are are two types of transfer available:
- Temporary - This type of transfer allows another bot to have the benefit of the star, but does not give ownership/control of the star to that bot.
- Permanent - This type of transfer gives ownership of the star to another bot. It requires email confirmation.
Note that there is a 5-day timelock on temporary moves.
How do I get a custom logo?
If you have at least 9 stars, you can use the self-service logo upload on the workshop settings page.
How safe is my investment?
Both the game data and the server the game is hosted on are backed up daily. I also have records of purchases separate from the game should anything catastrophic happen. Beyond that, your stars are as safe as the registered email on your account is.
Can I lose my stars?
Other than getting your account or email hacked as alluded to above, the only other way to lose stars is to cheat. Part of the cheater punishment includes forfeiture of stars.
How can I buy them?
Stars are available for instant purchase through PayPal. Upon purchase, they will be immediately available on the account you're on now.
