If you need any help post in here, make sure to include the following information;

I'm looking for somewhere/someone that can give the mechanics behind the stats and there exact purpose to the bot at hand (STR, DEX, CON, INT).
I've browsed around quite a bit but havent found anything, or it's just slipped my eye..

You are an int bot.. which pretty much means anyone that has less int than you will probably win.

My advice is to stop adding int, you already have enough to level effectively, and to keep training against the trainers you can beat.

Eventually you will level up a bit and be able to get the weapons you are after. However, do not expect to be extremely strong while you continue to have int.

yeh i know i'm lvl 63, but i've never been too sure when building my stats. I've always saw a weapon/armor i wanted and trained my stats for the weapon ^_^

You might have a little less con then what I would have.
I wouldn´t really add anymore int for now. Having 45 base is more then enough to lvl fast.

Armors: Looks like you´re using Fire Touch gloves. You should try getting better armors aswell. Better as in more uniqes.

I would stop using a shield if I where you. Shields are kinda worthless until you get to 190 dex (Yes yes, some might disagree).

Dex bots are quite good until around level 40, but you should never use a shield until you have 55% or higher block chance (I do not ever use shields until they give me >60%)

I use a shield when my dex is 2.5-3 times my level and con is at or above my level.

Usually seems to do pretty good.

I take it you're a levelling bot. Duriels is fine, but I would opt for Que-Hegans for a training bot with that low base INT, it's one of the most awesome armors in the game.

Wind Chasers Guardian Crown is a very bad helmet for training/fighting, only use for it is freaking, if you don't want to use Valkyrie Wing and can't reach Holy Plate of Light Helmet. Replace it. Get Thorn Spiked Helmet or Stealskull.

Dragon Claw is fine, you can upgrade to Thorn Spiked Gloves when you have the STR for it, but Dragon Claw is fine for now.

Blood Seeker: Get rid of it. Try to camp an Infernostride, shouldn't be too hard.

Also, you are just a couple of levels of STR short of brainbashers, might want to keep that in mind.

Also, seeing as you are just 7 STR short of brainbashers with your current armors, you could just add STR next two levels and buy them without changing armors, no need to wait till 80+. I'd switch out those armors after getting brainbashers though.

Building a leveling bot. I was reading in another topic that it's better to aim for 70% block so I have a chance of beating high ratio bots and getting better xp/h. I just want to know if I'm on the right track or if I can improve in any area. Thanks!

Never use thorn spike helm, always opt for stealskull. Using thorn spike helm is the equivalent of using holy plate of light boots over trolls.

I wouldn't go that far. That one is a no-brainer, you shouldn't trade 5 STR and 2 CON for a measly 13 DEF.

For the Stealskull vs Thorn Spiked Helm, they both give 16 non-STR points, which are what I look for after equipping weapons, and counting even the greater -STR for Thorn Spiked, it has 40 defense greater. Now that you can freak weapons, I opt for 40 def over 4 STR. Stealskull is better if you don't freak I guess, but I buy whatever I see, and upgrade to Thorn if I see it.

70% block isn't necessary to beat high ratio bots and given your current build, it's probably best to follow a balance build. In the short term it's probably best to raise your str to 150 so you can equip a Goldskin, which would be a massive improvement on your Heavenly garb. Then raising it further to 160 to get gold katanas also might be a good idea.

Should I keep the shield or equip dual weapons?

Definitely keep it if you want to train.

There's definitely a few things that could be improved with your build. For one, your CON is quite low for your level, so you should at least have the best armour possible. Personally, I would recommend having your HP equal to your lvl x 10.

If you have any spare re-dis points, you can take a few off of DEX and add them to CON, as your weapon only needs 75 DEX.

i dont know how can u get those items if u actually dont have that much stats for example u have 181 str at lvl 65 without any unique item and the u buy ghoulhide gloves which gives u +5 str (requires 160 str which u have). now since u dont have requiered str then u cant buy those items right so how do i get them?
Also i dont know why that calc is showing me 10-27=5!

Yeah I see what you mean. However, you already have a Rattlecage equipped, which will boost that 181 to 188, then add the Ghoulhide and that makes it 193, which is enough for the rest of the armour. Make sense?

If you mean build-wise, then I'd continue the strength path, if you wanna win battles at your level that is.

what will be the best build for me at lvl 80 if i have the thing what u recommended at lvl 65?

Well I'd say go for Answerers, as 95% of people at lvl 80 have them. I'm not gonna give you a full build to aim for though, because I'd just be giving you a walkthrough. The fun is in making your own build :)

Just wondering whether dualing scourges is a worthwhile idea, and if not what should I aim for?

I'd rather go for balrog blades if I were you.

How about as an inbetween step? I can get scourge in a level or two, and then work straight for balrogs.

And how about picking up a heavenly garb? Is the extra int worth a downgrade in armor?

That's an understatement. This one is pure DEX with the exception of having 20 INT to help it go a little quicker that I can easily redis off to DEX once I hit lvl 49 so I can get solar blades. Going to be a long night getting there. Especially with minimum CON for now that I'll spend 5 levels after getting solar blades spending it ALL on CON before going back to shooting for pains.

Well your HP is good for your level, but your weapons could be a LOT better. Unique armour (armour that appears in white in the showroom, in case you werent aware) would be a good way to boost your stats up, and get a better weapon. Although it does become quite expensive doing this.

Also, if you want to win most of your battles, I'd recommend re-distributing as much of your INT as possible, as that'll only help you level quicker, along with a few other things which aren't very significant.

If you want a strong balanced build, go for this:

That was the best strength build you could've gone for with your stats. Personally, I would've gone with the balanced build. Oh well, even with your current build, you'll start winning battles eventually. It's just around lvl 70-85 that 90% of bots have Equalizers and Answerers. They pretty much overpower any other kind of weapon and build.

That's true. Havoc Hews are pretty good early on, but against conned answerers, you'll start losing more and more as you go up, even if you con your havocs as well.

lmfao.. you have to have dex, even on pure str bots.

I suggest aiming for gothic axes, 115 str and 29 dex.

If you want to train you will have to get more int, about 20 - 30 base is fine, however keep in mind that you will be weak and other players will beat you easily.

Freaking a build is simply equipping armors and/or weapons you do not currently have the stats to support, first you equip armors that give you the most +str you can find, and then you equip the items you want to use.

Basic tips about pure str, always make sure you have the best armors available, if you don't want to have too much dex while you are leveling, for instance if you want to have Soul Harvesters or Mega mauls later I suggest gradually increasing your base intellect until you have around 45-55 with armors, it will significantly improve your performance, also keep your con to a minimum amount.

Not base intellect, I meant dexterity, lol.

3 or 4 days? for level 60..... That'll get you to level 120 or 130, easily.

Don't add any more con for a long time, you have way too much for your level. Pump your str for a bit so you can at least throw on the basic of unique armours also.

How are you wanting to level? Via fighting other bots or via training?

how many redis do you have by the way? you have the dexterity to wield a rapier(0str/73dex) 19-38dmg also so keep an eye out for one.

If you have some redis points, redis some of that con onto str and improve the armours, even if theyre not unique

No redis Mith (though you'll be able to get 14 by the time you reach level 80. I'd suggest evening it out to "perfect" lvl 80 answerers. That way you have more con.

Souls are now pretty much useless, as you can freak whiplashes with the base stats needed to equip souls. They do more damage and take less damage due to their lower str req. As weapons, souls were never really that good, it was only the 420 str armour set that made them what they were. For what it's worth I suppose they would still make good non-freaked builds though.

Freaking is essential in higher levels! if you dont have a freaked build everyone will beat you, even bots with some int!

how can it be essential when you have 450 base str?

Personally I wouldnt go for more than 364 str for long time... With freaking, 364 is enough to give you a very high absorb. Thats why freaking is essential.
