No idea why and how, but doesn't matter which email I try to register, I get "There was an error with your request." notice -_-
Same with Chrome 14 amd FF 5.0

Which step does this happen at, requesting the link to be emailed to you or after you click that link?

After I click "save" in the settings after typing my email into the field.

I got the same thing. "There was an error sending the email."

Okay Off, it looks like the system failed sending you an email the first time you tried, but still had your confirmation code saved and so it was failing when it went back to get a new code. I've fixed this and I think I've also fixed the original cause of the problem.

i first got a fail message too (after you said you fixed it) but now it seems to work :)

im still getting it on some of my bots. i clicked save on stewie and 20 mins later no email :(

You've checked the spambox?

Try canceling the request and resubmitting. I don't see the confirmation email in the account's outbox, so I think it didn't send from the bug I fixed earlier.

Beyond that, your stars are as safe as the registered email on your account is.

Now you don't need to change this anymore ^_^
