yeah that happens sometimes. it's a random thing.

it's not random, it happens when your clan's treasury has too many kudus.

Right, if your overall average level goes down. So, if you replace a level 100 with a level 99, and you have full treasury. The shadow thief will come in and steal some kudos.

The max treasury is based off average clan level? I assumed it was calculated by each individual bot's level, then added together, then multiplied by 90(subtracted by which if you have NC bots.).

I know on bots 2 they had someone that randomly jacked treas.

As mentioned, not a bug. This happens when your treasury exceeds the current maximum, which can happen if you're at the max and someone leaves (there may be other ways). I'm 99% sure bots2 did not have this feature.

Maximum clan treasury is calculated as follows:

• Sum up per-bot daily taxes, which is based on level
• Double the sum for every 5 NCs
• Multiply by maximum number of days of tax, which is max(7, 90 - number of NCs)

I don't believe it did either. Furthermore, on a lot of occasions on the Blue server the daily tax was deducted at all.

bots2 never had this feature it's the reason why on off months you would kick inactives or add a shit ton of bots, get Dragonrose, Project X, and which ever other high level bots to join, that way when they leave you are left usually with double the treasury allowable amount and never have to pay tax again.
