I know that all bots will be reseted not deleted, but how about auto bot deletion. Like it was on bots2, if im right.. belov lvl 50 or so, the point is some players, take some names and they just tryied the game, some of them will never come back, but the nickname will be allways in use, I think low level bots, after maybe 90 days should be auto deleted.

I have no plans to delete inactive bots at this time.

I would say there should be an deletion policy, but I would set the time to >180 days or even more and you would be excluded from this if you were higher than a certain level.

Are abandoned bots a problem?

i still stick to my guns, if it weren't for shitty bots people stopped using, the only bots to fight would be all the good bots, and no one likes fighting them obviously.

I suppose if a player wanted a name that was already taken by an inactive bot, they could ask Ender to delete that bot? The bot would have to be not logged in for a long time, like >1 year or something.

If that thing was ever implemented, I suggest that its a payable option, as otherwise it may get flooded by request. Furthermore the bot's last IP must be inactive on other bots too.

Meaning say its my bot that I just forgot about but I am active on other bots that bot shouldn't get deleted just because I forgot about it..

I have a couple level 1 bots that are waiting until we go live, I really don't want to have to make them again.

I kinda sorta like the "keep all bots forever" theory too, to a point. but after a while it's like beating a dead horse. Isn't it more fun to fight active bots?

If a bot is less than .50 ratio with no kudos, no energy, why attack it? Just for your ratio? Maybe if a bot is abandonded for 6 mo. and less that .50 ratio or so it gets deleted. It's pretty much useless at that point anyway, no?

>less than .50 ratio with no kudos, no energy

We call them "whores", and they're there for us to gain easy wins and boost our ratio.
