I like the basic idea, but of course you shouldnt be able to collect a platinum trophy for smacking Infant around..

I would just go with bronze, silver, gold. Don't see how to make it a plat without too many restrictions

Better have to have positive energy for most of those months to get these.

Indeed, perhaps there could be different levels of it too. Bronze for (+10,000) per month for X (personally I like 6) months up to Plat for (+250,000) per month for X months. Be nice if it was repeatable too.

Or bronze for (+100k a month) for two months, up to Plat for (+100k a month) for six months.

There could be a few trophies based around this concept.

i say bullshit, to people that say that 1 year is too long. back in the day, i was in aoc from day 1 of the clan, to the last day. so that was like 4-5 years, 1 year is nothing

Yeah I was in 12monkeys for about that long too. But the shorter the term is the more platinums you get for your loyalty number ;)

Over a year, There are other ways to get that +180 trophy points...Reset your bot 12 times in that time.

Either make it worth multi platinums or "it's not worth it".

Yeah, I'm not going to get one of these once I start resetting my bot but like you said, I'll be getting more points anyway.

I get the theory of it for those "true" clan guys. For the "trophy harvesters", it is worth it.

Holiday trophies: Req: Log in on Christmas eve, Easter Sunday, Halloween 4th of July etc.

Special event trophies: Record attempts and other special events trophies equal to the beta open/closed awarded for participating in stuff like the Tatanka clan project (has to be green-lighted by Ender, obviously)

I don't mind general holiday trophies such as New Years, but no religious ones please. Also regional stuff like thanksgiving doesn't seem appropriate. It could be fun things though, like Ender's birthday, or the day Bots4 was released.

Christmas is a religious holiday but I know a lot of non-religious people celebrate it in the US. And thanksgiving, I love celebrating our(USA) dominance over the natives.

I was thinking BOTS4 release could be a special event trophy, but i guess it could be under holidays too .. and for the non-religious, non-regional holidays? ehmm ... i cant remember any(or at least very few)!? even new year is celebrated at different times around the world(and not just the 24 hour time-span, doh!), maybe the only one left is valentines day :(

Special Event and Holiday trophies are fine by me, these are things that any player can participate in without losing out on anything. But I don't think Ender should give out trophies for things made up by players in game such as the "Tatanka project" that I would have to quit my clan and join yours for. Just in case my "Yes, yes, no" wasn't clear enough for you.

The game is now based in the US therefore I think that Christmas and thanksgiving as well as all of our other holidays should count.

That pagan ritual called christmas isn't exclusively american. Although coca cola is. So i guess santa clauss is. Ok fine, it is. Either way, it has no business as a trophy.

Why don't we just agree to disagree and put in all the religious holidays anyone can think of?

Christmas was originally a fest to celebrate the Light and the christian monks just didn't want to mess with the vikings holiday traditions then placed there "celebration of giving birth to a child day" on the same day. A couple of years later, a guy in Germany (think he was a monk actually) decided to give out free toys to the poor children on that same day, and today we call him Santa Claus and locate his house somewhere on Greenland. My point is Christmas don't have to be taken as a religious celebration of some fictional guy in a different dimension thought up thousand of years ago, but could just be about the light returning and the joy of getting a new toy. I'd like a trophy on that plz.
