This has to be the only game in the world where if this was in suggestions the vast majority of players would shoot it the fuck down sooo fast it's not even funny.

Heck most players would even hate to get exp bonus for winning a tourney. online games should be about constant growth and evolution, not stagnation and fucking lameness.

Double XP weekend? 10 bots online... all int bots.

I guess this is as good a place as any for me to talk about my current plans in this direction.

I've mentioned before that I want there to be more special events like tournaments to break up the otherwise occasionally monotonous gameplay. What I envision eventually having is a calendar you can look at to see what events are coming up. If this were bots2, each month's calendar would contain a single entry: the tournament (and I guess the un-PC "rape days" too if you went back far enough). I want more.

One idea is more tournaments, such as this alternative tournament.

I also like the idea of bonus days. For example:

• Monday - Double battle speed
• Tuesday - Half-price buffs
• Wednesday - Double showroom stock
• Thursday - Double attack limits
• Friday - Double kudos
• Saturday - Double energy
• Sunday - Double exp (choose between 50%/200% normal rate)

Another related idea is holidays. We could have fun with it make up our own bots4 holidays too:

• January 1 - New Year's Day
• January 9 - floR's birthday
• January 27 - Hacking of bots2 (maybe an anti-holiday: reduced showroom stock/kudos, no buffs, etc.)
• March 7 - Open beta anniversary
• May 29 - Ender's birthday
• July 1 - Official release anniversary
• September 29 - Closed beta anniversary
• October 31 - Halloween
• December 25 - Christmas Day

Rape days are kind of pointless with this energy system. It is entirely useless to rape someone to the limit if they don't have the energy in the first place.

If you read what I said properly you will notice I said there is no point if it doesn't have the energy. In most cases Bots4 isn't limited by clicks, it is limited by available energy.

Also, you could have events. Where when you registered your bot at level 1. You went to the "Event" page, signed up for the certain event. Then had x number of days to complete. Anything from

• Get 10k wins
• Get to level 100
• Get 300 strength / Dex / Con / int
• Get 20000 Energy
• Buy an answerer or any weapon really
• Redis 35 points

Just fastest to do anything or whatever. Gets a star for a week or x trophy points depending on how hard it is.

On January 9 we completely ignore the game and play WoW and eat hot pockets for 24h straight.

Sounds nice to give buffs on special days, but every day another special buff day is kind of much don't you think? The special days only would be more fun in my opinion.

Christmas is usually an extended holiday, how about having those weekday buffs for that week only once a year.

Then the other special days can have their own thing, maybe random selection of suggested perks.

I still really like the idea of special events, but there are a few largeish projects I want to get out of the way before I come back around to this.
