I was wondering if it would be possible to have an option to temp out stars for a calendar month. This would help people running clans such as myself to be able to temp out stars to members as a reward for the previous month without having to temp them out every 5 days.

I don't think this would be a hard to implement and would be a useful feature to have not just for myself but for other players.

possibly an automatic function of how many days you want the star to be temped out. then when them days run out if goes back to your bot automatically aswell. obviosuly the amount of days you could select would have to be over the timelock duration

Yeah I suppose that would make more sense. I just assumed there was probably a reason for the 5 day timelock.

Something that just popped into my head would be the idea of maybe a inter clan star pool, members can put stars in the pool which the founder can then distribute to members. This would be alot of work for Ed though, but could be an idea worth exploring.

I'm sure some other people have ideas for where this concept could go and bring their own ideas on it

It's not really worth the dev time, you can do exactly this at the moment, you just need to move it back after the month. Saving you 20 seconds every 30 days isn't enough to bother with it.

You don't need to temp them out to the same bot every 5 days. They stay there til you move them again. I fail to see the point.

I'm inclined to agree with Fishwich because this seems to just be a shortcut of pretty limited/narrow use. I think I've talked about clan-managed star pools before and this would be neat (as would easier star management in general), but these are nice-to-haves and are unlikely to be implemented anytime soon.
