My suggestion would be to place all available purchasable buffs on the bar (even ones you don't have bought) with the ones you don't have bought linking you to the buff page to buy them.

I think this would help new players locate the buff page easier and be able to direct them there so they can see what that page is all about.

Please no, this would actually drive me insane. I'd say make it a toggle option in settings at least but it would be on by default meaning turning it off on every single bot... Alternative suggestion of adding a buff page link to the buff information drop down on the side opposite of the pause button. Crescendo is always there so even if they use up AoE it could still be easily noticed.

Better yet, have some kind of message prompt/tutorial guidance thing that explains and shows the buffs and trophy page once AoE is used up (or right at the start if Ed ever does a full tutorial type of thing).

I think it's a solid option to have the bar "set" with the purchasable buffs. Unpurchased ones when clicked take you to the buff page. Purchased ones act like they do now.

All the others would need to be relocated to a designated spot though as to not make the "main buff bar" odd or misaligned.

It wouldn't add any extra bulk, just icons that would be darkened out and not very obtrusive.

Could even add the option to "buy the buff" from the bar rather than having to go to the tp page to purchase it.

Fair. Options could be integrated with that as well. Owned ones could be bold bordered (example).

I just think they need a lot more visibility for new players. Established players might have to suffer through the slight inconveniences (like building a new bot is currently).

This, but also don't hate the idea. Maybe if there were 3 colours for each state it would be more appealing but not a huge fan, it could also add to initial confusion for new players a short tutorial on the whole game would be best I think.
