I think the tournament should exist just like the old bots2..=D

Atleast in the beginning. Could always change the layout later on.

i think we need a different type of tournement then the 1 that we had in bots2 as the lower level bots got +points just cause they were lower level and the better bots didnt have a chance of winning as they didnt get the extra points

like when 12 monkeys made A Bot Named George they were ALWAYS 1st at level 242 but yet ender and lesley's bots won more every time and they were always 2nd - 5th which i found was unffair

Just because a bot was made with more monkeys, doesn't mean it's in any way more powerful, or the monkeys any smarter smarter.

Actually, most of the tournament winners were at the highest level in their respective category bracket. The only time that wasn't the case was for higher level cats where there were fewer bots, and bots at level 200 were fighting those at 350+. And those at very high levels had lots of int, so they arguably didn't deserve to win anyway.

There will be tournaments in bots4. Possibly every week instead of every month.

And it will not have the level-adjusted formula.

Well that's not fair, Ender won every single fight in several tournaments, he didn't deserve to win any of those?

Don't know yet what I'll do for categories.

hope that the tourna will be like old bots tourna..i suggest that will have a categories but different tourna from the old one...=D

hmm categories change might be needed as said...old tournies were kinda set.
