Well look at it like this, there isnt that big of a player database for it at the moment. If you pull from like both top clans then youve lowered them basically and just put them all in one clan, and if you pull from some of the other top clans then youve basically done that. So all and all it would still end up being the same and killing the competition cause its basically would be made of the same people that still play for those clans. Like said would need a bigger player database which bots4 dont have at the moment.

but in the same respect it's seperate members joining and for the clan to work and compete im sure the members must understand that they must go all into there new clan, which would mean not scoring for they're old one, hence spreading the talent pool around and making more clans, something which I believe will make the game more entertaining, I understand your comments about not having the database, which is definatley true, but id rather have 4 clans competiting for the top spot then having 1 or 2. Just a personal opinion :)

I'm sorry shoe but I have no idea what your on about? Taking one player from escapism and making a clan with him dosent water down the clan very much, they are still a very strong force with or without leader

Hey folks, just wanted to throw my two bit into the well of confusion here. Name's James, SN Blh (obviously.) I wasn't a transfer from any other clan, I started in arcane, Leader and Lobster were kind enough to bring me along into their brainchild, when it comes to cross-clan recruiting; it is simply a matter of preference..

Player A and Player B enjoy playing together, they leave Clan A and Clan B to make Clan C- doing so gathers attention from fellow Players who enjoy playing with them to form an actually successful "Clan C". If you don't want to join, don't. don't bitch about others doing so, just play the game and enjoy it!

However: I DO believe that belonging to Clan A while trying to start Clan C is counter productive. Example: Player x currently resides in Clan A and scores happily (instance: 40k EPM), create's a new bot, joins Clan C, scores happily on that bot as well (40k EPM) the score difference is *0 in this instance, equating to a useless individual.

well its not useless, its just benefiting 2 clans instead of 1.

3rd clan is bound to lose by 40k in that scenario (and we do have 3 big clans as it seems)

Arcane is no where near a big clan yet if thats what your suggesting no2 :)

This seemed to cause an uproar especially with rithy and inside escapism they didn't like it one bit because we sprang it out of no where and started to compete yehh alright we have a few big names in their with myself and lobster especially but 2 doesn't make up a full team :) To compete with the best Eternal and Escapism it will take hard long months of preparation and recruitment to make sure we get the best team thats left to compete

I don't think anyone's worried that arcane will be a threat, just that they are losing clan members which will weaken their chances against the other top contender

well im sure you will see us a threat in months to come fish

just remember fish, at any given time , any clan can become a threat.

I realise that this is hard to convey & recognise in the written form but subtle clues such as the use of ^^ or :p or ;) or the my favourite ... give a subtle hint not too take the words too seriously :)

12M was a fun and social clan, and that spirit continuous in Atreides. We may not be sprinters, but we're certainly in it for the long haul. 11 years on (holy crap) and there are still plenty of people from the old days.

Feel like the name of this thread is "Arcane". if Atreides really wants to recruit, Atreides should create a thread, not poach from this thread. I don't believe this is too unkind of a request.

Atreides recruits by just having an awesome name. I mean, it's a bloody house in the legendary Dune franchise. House of the main character too.

Arcane is supposed to be understood by only a few. And if it's Leader/Lobster I will have to guess that it can't be that complicated. Probably named after the Arcane Orb attack in Diablo 3 or some attack in WoW or some bullshit like that.

The clan name Arcane hasn't come from WoW nor diablo 3 i don't play them games never have and don't think i ever will.

When I played, Arcane was the talent tree you would go down as a mage if you wanted insane DPS but no mobility/usefulness, no skill was really required to play it, just spam a spell called arcane blast.

Ha, in my sleep deprived status I forgot what arcane meant. It's not one of those words you use very often after all.

I'm not hating, I was just pointing out that it's kinda a sucky name in comparison to Atreides. Just poking around where my business don't belong like usual also :P

its a great team alright if they level their bots to around 100-130 and make some dumpers maybe we could make a bigger score than what we already have :)

or make a lvl 65 bot and have a bunch of lvl 50 dumpers cough cough

Everything takes time guys :) we will be dominate in months too come, I own 33 level 100+ dumpers, currently building 20 for someone then building another 17 for myself :)
