It seems to be more like this:

Right-hand dmg: 166 - 240
Left-hand dmg: 166 - 210

Even against low-level bots, terminator 2k, etc

but i do

Right-hand dmg: 200ish - 500ish Left-hand dmg: 200ish - 500ish because of absorb... yes it sucks, but its there for a reason i guess, if i was doing 1000 damage every hit i would 1 or 2 hit kill most bots and they would respectively(considering stats and damage) do about the same to me. there isn't much fun in that in that really

I think the OP was complaining that he tends to roll dmg in the lower half of his dmg range, not about absorb. My suggestion: use a weapon with a lower dmg range ;)

Bluei got it. It has nothing to do with absorb; against low level trains, even against bots with no armour, I keep getting awful rolls. I know it's not just this bot, my other bots do it too.

well... make a strength bot?

odds are this shouldn't be happening, you should on average do damage in the lower half of your range half the time and in the upper half the rest of the time.

Bots is an arse when it comes to odds tho, come back next week and I guarantee you'll be hittin hard.
