C'mon guys, proper ACing suspicions should go through Ender. Publicly accusing someone based on them AFKing on Captcha once is not really sufficient evidence.

Sometimes when you solve captcha, white screen with msg "Could not open socket" appears. Same happened today twice to me, sooo I can only guess that because of that we see "turing test". White page appears and user decides to close browser thus remaning online for another hour with a "turing test". Another, mine conclusion can be that if you're using AC which solved captcha...it can get stucked too. If you are a human, logical step after "socket msg" would be to go back and try again..or go back and logout and not just close the fuckin browser.

There are more than one conclusions and on Ender is to decide if he should investigate this further or no. I just wrote what i saw, freedom of speech and no one can forbid me to do that.

If you were clicking, and got "socket error", I think you would have remember that, and say it here in first place, wouldn't you?

I just wrote some possible outcomes, and maybe gave you some alibies. Who cares...if you're playing fair, grats, if not, you'll be probably cached, sooner or later.

I think the "Could not open socket" captcha errors that some people have been seeing are related to the ongoing issues my host has been having lately. I think some outgoing connections were temporarily being blocked or something (the game server needs to talk to Google's servers to validate the captcha response). I was also having issues connecting to IRC from the game's server earlier.

And as some others mentioned, idling out on captcha, even multiple times, is not conclusive proof of cheating. It can be a useful signal to indicate that a player should be investigated further, but it's by no means enough for me to act on by itself. For these same reasons, it probably isn't worth publicly accusing someone over either. In the future, please bmail me directly with anything you've observed that indicates someone may be cheating.

yeah i experiened the socket page for the first time during the recent problems with attacks, also watched a fight with a white background lol... fun stuff.

When multitasking, simply clicking a link every minute for long trains was no big deal, but when a wild captcha appeared, sometimes I just couldn't be assed and just let it time out. Same with not responding to bmails, etc. None of those are conclusive evidence for cheating.

It's far from conclusive. They will not be banned or whatever, but it is some kind of notification about their activity. It all relies on wether you think they are cheating or not. But soon as someone mentioned it in public it's moot point due to posibillity of trolling.

Nothing is ever "Conclusive" but the evidence shown here is certainly suggestive. Not just because #1 hof lvl was touring, but because both #1 and #2 hof lvl were both touring at the same time. That is nearly conclusive.

Far from it. Unless you're suggesting they are the same person, them doing the same thing at the same time is inconsequential.

People who still play this game care about cheating, though some people misunderstand that having better resources and more free time isn't cheating. Also its a bit difficult to compete with the level hall of fame if you didn't start playing a long time ago :p

Not so true Angelo i started on Boondox again around 3 months ago when it was level 160 when i started leveling it again but lets be honest thats only 3 days work at most and now its level 296 so doesnt really take that long and it will hopefully be level 300 before end of the month

I agree with Angelo on his points about good players on this game and people caring about cheating. Although i don't think its incredibly hard to get into the top 10 hofs and especially the lvl one when you have rw's, I managed to get into the top 10 for wins in under 2 years when the game has been running for 5, If you invest a lot of time consistently then it's not hard.

Also well done on getting your name on all forum sections SJ, but you still suck lol.
