Eh seems to me like you were quite plainly arguing over the validity of Hobo's statements. And I'm no troll, I just can't stand holier-than-thou attitudes like yours. If you really believe that you're above someone else because you don't do or believe in something that they do, then you're the ignorant one not them.

Alcohol may be more socially accepted, but it's effectively poison and infinitely more harmful than weed - where weed is about as harmful as sugar.

The problem isn't so much the substance itself. But like with anything, too much is a bad thing. People have died from drinking too much water. Water!

I didn't intend for this topic to turn into a discussion thread, I just wanted to bitch.

That said, like I said in my first post, I don't care if you smoke/drink/shoot up/inhale/insert it rectally/however you get your jollies off, just don't act like it's what everyone does, and don't try and act ike it's the best thing in the world and anyone that doesn't do it is your enemy. Most of my friends do some sort of drug, and it doesn't bug me, what bugs me is when it's pushed onto me.

Now if someone wants to say that weed has no negative effects, short term no not really, short term memory loss, slower reflexes, whatever. But it does have long term effects, like erectile dysfunction, memory loss (general).

Anyway, the main issue is just people that push their life style onto others. Stoners ist he target in this, becuas they were the one on my mind, but it can apply to anyone really, like religious zealots for example. Just, the obvious ones (online) are the stoners that tend to just, show it off everywhere and act like it's okay. And it's one thing to say, make your logo weed related, whatever, but it's another to go around and say DUDE I JUST GOT HIGH or MAN I FUCKED UP 'CUZ HIGH or whatever.

You can drink to much water and die, but unless its a super concentrated edible form which still would be pretty impossible. The amount of thc needed to overdose would be impossible to consume you would sooner die from suffocation if you were smoking it.

I will agree that a lot of the pro-pot propaganda is bullshit, but as with most arguments both sides are full of bullshit to make people believe their side.
