What do you think of shields? do they work for you?

I like shields but hate that there isn't unique versions.

Shields are kind of annoying, but this game has become more primarily Strength based... I agree with Draoi that having no special shields suck D: It would add a new twist to the game... As well as special weapons too :) Otherwise I believe that shields have lost their effectiveness

don't be dragging special weapons into this, shields are not a weapon.

they are if you bash someone in the face with it

If shields are going to take damage in bots4, then I agree that there should be unique shields. Otherwise the current shields need a bit of a buff.

should give em like 20-30 damage. like i said if someone came at me with two swords and i had a sword and a shield and i saw the correct opening i would pummel that fuckers face with my shield ad break his nose(making me the victor, coz he'd get about 4 foot of steel through his throte)

I love my dexbot, but it sucks at energy-harvesting.

Its stilla fun bot though aimirgiht?

I miss half the time,
They block half the time.
The two just seem to intertwine.

Yes it´s a fun bot to train with... Btw I got most of the wins as a BB bot :P

Shields and I dont mix most of the time unfortunately. I attempt to make dex bots all the time, but i just get impatient with them.

-The battles are so much slower until the later levels

-Strength bots are hitting more now, so that epic long fight wont be worth shit, lol.

The only time I was ever able to pull off a decent bot with a shield was about 2 years ago now, back on bots 2. i think i got it to around lvl 120, but it was still poor. then again, making a good bot wasnt necessary at all thanks to whores all over the servers, haha.
