I want to host a little star competition. I have 6 stars up for grabs which I will temp on a bot of your choice until the next person wins the competition, or until the game officially starts.

All you have to do is win 25% or more of fights against this bot whilst fighting it at least 20 times. So if you win 5 fights out of 20 you get the stars. Simple enough :)
You can fight it as many times as you want. So if you win 25 times out of 100 you still get the stars.

Competition is open from now and to bots my level or lower.

Hehe, Cookie, you are a perfect evap bot with 350 str and 110 dex? I simmed this bot against the normal perfect build evaps and it wins 9 out of 10 fights. So on average you will win only 2 out of 20 fights. Someone will have to be very lucky or do something special with their bot to win 25% of fights. The perfect evap build that you probably have is the best "normal" old school build at lvl120.

This bot is min/maxed to the max. Made use of everything that the game has available: +str armours, +dex armours, used max redis points, trained with 10 base int and minimum con.

So...You haven't figured out my 119 build yet? Hehe.

Still haven't lost a single fight since the redis. Had 32 losses when I redissed. Plenty of people attacking me though :)

Alan, how did you sim against my bot? You only know the weapons are blaster mauls. You don't know str, dex, con and what armours. Only Ender will know if he checks :)

with non-inted build of mine I should be able to win a bit more often, but I doubt I could win 25%

your build is against the rules

My first bot has whips. This one has blasters and more hp. Same armours though. Lvl120 is the earliest you can possibly get blasters due to the con rule.

I was talking about equiping items and please dont lie, that all your armours have req for str :)

I think you can get blasters at 118, but 120 is close enough. Btw did you redis into con after you bought all your gear?

This build is not against in the rules.

I encourage this kind of ingenuity and creative use of game mechanics (+str gear and redis in this case). I will very likely leave out the extra equipment damage to items you don't have the requirements for from the final release.

Hehe, this is great. I have another build in mind which has even more con and more armour (uses some kevlar pieces so easier to order and shop for) but less damage at lvl120 and will win 50/50 against this bot. Will save that one for the final release :)

That would make things very interesting Ender :) One question though, how would regular gear damage affect red items? Would they take more damage than green items?

I'll have to look more closely at the formula, but that's not out of the question.

The highest level I can fight is 162. I attacked all the bots lvl140+ to lvl162. Lost once though against Emanuel. Damn light sabers...hehe
