Lol, that is fucking gold right there. |

Actual headline from a few weeks ago: "Footballer kicks 77yo supporter into a coma" |
it's not the sport that's at fault here it's the supporters lack of respect. they have nothing to do on the field. |
Usually it's the 'supporters', yea, but in this case it was the footballer who left the field and roundhouse kicked the 77yo into a coma. And i wouldn't care that much, if it weren't for the millions and millions of euro that are spent on police, damages and 'pro football clubs' that need bail outs because they can't get their finances sorted out. |

Soccer wtf, everywhere its called football except in US en Australia, EU football is played with feet, US football is played by holding the eggshaped ball with your HANDS and run around with it, i agree there is a ocasional kick |
America knows best |
if they would the game would be call american handball |
Point proven because that makes no sense at all. |
neither is calling a game football when its played with your hands |
<Rapture>

Why can't you people just respect the fact that people have their own names for things in their own country, oh, and I wish the ref would have got his ass kicked too!! |
i do respect it :) just having a bit of fun here, and yeah the ref just have gotten one too hehe |

It didn't look like he connected very solid with his kicks. |
i guess you mean the supporter because the goalkeeper did :) |
'american rugby' would make more sense. |
^^^^^^^^^^ agree |
Woodcock [24] |
"i guess you mean the supporter because the goalkeeper did :)" No, I don't... To me, it looked like the keeper's kicks connected with the supporter's legs, and they seemed a lot less severe then he could have dealt. Should have just spiked him to the chin :) |

"When skill and determination fall short, extreme blunt trauma proves your point" |
'american rugby' would make more sense. Yes, it would if people cared about specific naming when the game evolved...which they didn't. It is like any drinking game, not every location has the same rules. |
If you don't care what it's called, may i suggest Wussby? Contraction of wussy and rugby. You know, what it basically is. "Wussby" |
Well, they care now :P |
People here care about football, but that didn't stop you from calling it soccer. |
We can't have two sports with the same name now can we? |
