anyone else following the euros this year?

if by EURO12 you mean watching overpaid athletes who fall at the softest of touches belching out gaylike screams acting like they got hit in a car accident, all the while millions of fans are overtaken with an overly dramatic emotional state of mind screaming at there television screens, torching cars, vandalising state property, raping women and streaking across town?

ofcourse, whats not to like.

euros, no EPL -.-

Here in Portugal, the media only focus in Euro2012 and the portuguese team. Personally, I dont expect much from Portugal, I think they wont pass the group phase. I guess Germany and Spain are the favourite teams.

I'll be watching :)

Australia has almost no media coverage. a few of the games are going to be on at 3am so I'll probably be lacking sleep for the next 3 weeks.

Netherlands will be out after the group stage, then we can resume our lives.

Isnt Netherlands on Portugal's group also? Portugal starts saturday against germany and then I think its netherlands. Two very hard games to start...

Ireland and Denmark are so fucked lol

In qualification for Euro2012, Denmark ended in front of Portugal (they were in same group), so Portugal has a serious chance of becoming last in the 1st phase.

Nevertheless, I think a strong group will be positive for Portugal. In previous competitions, the first games were usually against weaker teams and Portugal was always "lazy" and made bad games at start. Now against better teams, they have to go with a different mindset.

i dont know how denmark are winning they are having no possession and not getting out there own half

well they won LOL. A bit lucky but well Holland had 28 shots 8 off them was on target Denmark had 8 shots 8 on target so maybe a draw would have been ok but we where lucky ;-)

i think england will win they are underdogs but what a great defence they have lescott cole terry and johnson that should keep them in the game if they begin to struggle

Portugal was a pleasant surprise for me. I didnt expected them to pass to quarter finals but they did it! Now I hope they dont slack against Czech Republic...

They shocked me too! They played really well though, nice to see ronaldo finally wake up!

oh well .. that was it for Denmark ... but then again we really didn't play that good in the offence. What's with the playing the ball back wards all the time anyway? just fail. and there's a couple of players i would like to ban from the team for life ... if it had been a LOL game the verdict would have been "Assisting Enemy Team"...

well holland is out also such a huge supprise was hoping they went through and portugal wouldnt be in the final 16 :(
