I worked some magic on the server last night (installed a php opcode cache). CPU usage has been way down and things do seem a little snappier to me, but maybe it's just my imagination. Has anyone else noticed?

(As mentioned in the news, I also optimized some of the post office code, but that's unrelated to the general speedup I'm hoping you're seeing.)

On a somewhat related note, does anyone else find that sometimes you need to click the link twice before the page will load?

If I click it once the page says its loading but will eventually time out, unless I click it again.

I'm using Chrome.

Yes. I had to click twice to write this reply. Im on chrome too, but dont see how this could be browser related.

Didn't chrome come out fairly recently? maybe it doesn't have all the bugs worked out yet.

I tried FF4 yesterday. Big improvement. But Chrome10 is betta

I'm on win/chrome now, and that seems to be a lot faster than mac/chrome. Is that weird? I'll do some further testing.

Hm, I haven't had problems on Chrome.

Just ignore jans, all of his problems are related to his spectacularly bad internet connectivity.

Chrome 11.0.696.28 beta here. No problems...

chrome works fine for me.

For what it's worth, Chrome is the official browser of bots4. It's what I (primarily) develop in.
