Its actually really sad to see how many good players dont play this game anymore :(

well, the game is kinda boring no? i mean the actual clicking forever can't be fun for anyone. Maybe Ender should have just left it to a real "battle of the scripts" and let people do whatever they want, be it manual or automatic clicking

Auto fight/train would be cool, tried another browser game the other day that had that option, 300 auto battles, then you had to activate auto again for another 300 etc. Gave me some time to play other games while my character kept battling :)

I've actually found myself getting more into games with idle mechanics and think it could be an interesting concept to introduce to bots4. I like that it (a) lets people make some amount of progress without having to put in as much time (we're only getting older and busier) and (b) levels things out about with the inevitable scripting that happens.

That makes me happy, would love to see that in bots4, would give us alot more time for other stuff <3

If anything even remotely is implemented like this, count me out.

Bots, at it's core, has always been about clicking. Get rid of that, and there's no game. Not really. You can all proceed to jerk yourselves off over your 10K trains per day or whatever, but we all know you fucking suck.

If ACing is going to become the new, accepted norm, then I'm done. And I'm sure I'm not alone here. I've been botting since like 2004 or something like that, and it makes my blood boil that we are where we are right now.

Rather than push back against ACing, we got an admin who has apparently, finally, given in to them. Awesome /s

Thought the same like you years ago, but time moves on, after I tried a game with "auto" 300 fights per session I must say that was the most convenient thing I have seen in a game like this, there was also option to do it oldschool (click every fight). 300 fights is just enough to do some other chores and come back and click again for another 300 fights. First thing that popped in my mind was "I wish bots4 had this function".

Yeah, perhaps I was a little too harsh. I just dont want to see full on ACing become the norm. I might not play much anymore, but I love this game.

I guess something like that could be purchased with trophy points. Kinda like a new buff. X amount of auto trains/fights for however many trophy points. That would offer a huge advantage to anyone with massive amounts of TPs though. If it were another buff though, only 1 could be bought per day, so that wouldn't seem too OP.

If you want to go down this road, you could create a feature where you could leave your bot to passively perform some tasks, like some kind of training, maybe scavenging for a piece of equipment, etc.

Players could get type of progress without having to be logged in all the time. Not as much as they'd get from actively clicking while logged in, but some kind of progress. Think of it as your bot zoning out and doing some cardio, as opposed to actively sparring with the training bots that hit back.

I agree with Cosby to some extent, the huge problem with even the smallest amount of automation is dumpers, say you got 1000 automated fights a month on a bot that doesn't sound like a lot but for someone with 200 dumpers it's a hell of a lot and would just become a battle of who has more dumpers which you could argue is already the case but nothing like it would be.

The game definitely needs more updates though or something fresh I dont think this is the route IMO.

Shouldn't be 100% auto, maybe 100-300 fights at the time, a person with that many dumpers still has the advantage even without auto. And make it an option to use as some might prefer to click every fight instead of 1 time every 100 fights :P

100-300 fights automated is 100% automation for 100-300 fights lol.

The perfect amount for dumping to the level 50-150 range, if it was 100 fights people would start spamming lvl 75 dumpers and dump to a lvl 99 fully automated, then log the next and do the same which defeats the whole purpose of the game really all you would have to do is log in and out, how fun.

Don't see how that is anything different from what we have now, you can still do the exact same thing by clicking. Auto just makes it abit more convenient, and remember it is for everyone.. so can't really say that anyone have any advantage.

It's different because people click with different efficiency and motivation that's the competitive nature, If it was just for trains and a small amount balanced well I would like the idea.

Yeh, doing it for trains only could work, then pvp would stay the same.

As someone who would benefit greatly from automation Im against it would ruin all the work of alot of good players over the years. If this idea wanted to be serious there should be another server launched with it enabled.

I actually agree with zizu all the hard work over the years should be appreciated by the OG bots

leave a server up with no ac and call it hardcore, and another server for acing which would be softcore.

A "second" server with proposed ideas for implementation purposes (like minor leagues in sports where they test new rules, etc.) seems like a decent idea. That said it would split the player base (which is already fairly small) and you'd have to weigh the pros and cons of that.
