I think this would be a good idea for new people but could be a nice addition overall. Trophies in clans based on individual proformance. Example being a trophy for top score in the clan or top 5. It's just an idea not sure how will it all work out and while yes you can get a trophy for being top 100 or higher for more points I think this would promote effort among other clans to be more active.

I think it would be a good idea as the lack of space clearly in top 10 is easily taken up by players with far more resources and time compared to newer players, so I think this is a good idea over all.

I feel like we have enough participation trophies already. I don't see how adding more would drive competition.

I do think Ender might be on the right path with limited clan sizes, forcing people to split and break up the monopoloy of resources that people have. Just don't think providing more trophies would provide more.

In principle, I support the CONCEPT. Absolutely.

If the goal was for the game to try and encourage a broader clan diversity and make it less rewarding for a conglomeration of all the very best players monopolizing the trophies and discouraging activity elsewhere? Well... these kinda things are exactly the things you do!

For a multitude of reasons, I'm hesitant to flatly embrace this concept... but if it were fleshed out properly then... well, it absolute could be a pretty banger idea, actually.

Like... pretty obviously so, imo. It feels like any reasonable person that put any genuine effort whatsoever into thinking about this should come to such a conclusion, tbh...

I will say we JUST reduced the limit from 10 to 20 and made other changes that help address things... so, I kinda think we give these new changes an actual chance to actually change things though - if only to properly measure these initial changes. As such, I'm not in a huge hurry to completely rewrite everything on top of this... at least not before a few months have passed.

Like, when you update a game with some patch then you probably aren't IMMEDIATELY trying to make other changes (barring an emergency patch for unintended breakage) to address the issues that patch was supposed to deal with. See how well the patch was first, ya know?

I suggested before that top 10 bots should be given more trophy points, more in the range of 600-1000 for the amount of points they use to gain said top 10 scores. Adding more clan specific trophies for social activities or scoring would be fine, but I think that increasing the trophy points on the ones we have might be better. Or we could add a bunch of gold trophies for scoring itself to push it closer to 600-1000 trophy points gained. I think the main reason people stop using the same bot in and out every month is because they go through trophy points too fast and can't get enough for the next month (it generally takes about 5-6 months of getting a couple of golds per month for top 1000 energy/top 10 clans to get it back).

Or we could just get rid of trophy points altogether and make buffs free.

Mind you it's been over 10 years and we don't even have clan moderation permissions yet lol.

This would reward idle bots for being in a clan more than they already are which isn't a good thing, although maybe there could be something cosmetic like clan medals which could also be displayed on the clan profile as well as bot profile.

I can get jiggy with that. I think flairs or vanity show pieces would be a pretty cool and harmless addition.
