I remember it used to be.

floR created a robot game but didn't know anything about robots so he put all the D&D weapons and armor he was using in the campaign he dungeon mastered instead of robot stuff. I remember all that.

Obviously Biggins Bonnet was named after Frodo Biggins because every D&D nerd loves LotR. I remember.

But... is game STILL based in Middle Earth or is Ender kinda like Disney and Star Wars and all the old lore doesn't exist anymore?

Like, was Biggins Bonnet retconned to just be named after Al Bundy's favorite magazine or something?

Just curious - as I was always a huge fan of the Bot lore. Thanks.

90% or so of the weapons/armors are copied straight out of Diablo 2. This is a text-based Diablo 2 clone that was supposed to have classes and skills etc. (that was the idea for bots3), but he got bored of it I think after he made a certain amount of money/cheaters started popping up etc.

If you don't believe me then look at the Unique Helms of Diablo 2, they're all the same.

All of the armors etc. were all copy pasted too.

In fact if Blizzard so much as knew of this game's existence over the years then it likely would've been sued to oblivion.

However, the names of the last armors and weapons added to the game were invented by Myriad and Rene, I think they aren't from Diablo.

Nah, I remember.
