Perhaps it would be simpler to create a generic picture for each weapon path as a sort of guide. Would save creating hundreds of pictures that a small percentage of players will look at.

Yet a more simpler way is to just download the Diablo2 thumbs...arranging's gonna be a bit slow & boring, but will result in everyone beeing happy :D

The reason Blizzard found out is... FloR deleted a guys bot for autoclicking (Pretty sure) and he had stars. He told blizzard that Flor is making money. Which makes it illegal for him to use their images.

Wait the old pictures really got taken down because of Blizzard? I'd always assumed that was a made-up rumor.

I'm 95% sure thats what happened. I asked him one day. He was slim on his story, but that was the main idea.

well if you think about it 99.9% the weapon and armour images were from diablo 1/2 so i can sort of understand why, but it sucks

I think this is a good idea. Make it a community project. Users make pictures, users vote on them. All Ender has to do is upload them.

Mind you, wouldn't hundreds of pictures of weapons/armour significantly increase the amount of data traffic Ender has to serve up?

floR never got in any trouble from his use of the diablo pictures use becase 1. he was technically a non-profit in his country and 2. it was too small for blizzard to care.

As far as images, I am against it, after all, this is a text based game.
