questions

I have a dex bot and just noticed....70% block chance is the max? what use does the extra block chance have on the shields? once i hit a certain level of dex i already hit 70%

You hit 70% block wihtout a shield? Every lvl you gain your "base" block will get lower, to maintain it you need to put in more dex, and then upgrade your shield when the time comes, if you want to maintain 70%block.

Upgrading your shield means that you dont need to put more dex in for a couple of lvls, better used in other stats (unless you are like just a few points short for a new weap)

Also adds more armor def to the build

I put it into the builder, the stats that is and it was 70% without a shield...guess that would rape without a shield then?

Doubt it, is it even possible to hit 70%block without shield? Maybe at very low lvl.. but doubt it :P

If it is possible i guess you wont rape anything, because you would need base con and base str i guess hehe.

i think the builder was trippin cuz now it says 34% without shield haha
