Are they just estimating? Or is there a way to calculate it (obviously knowing both bots builds)?

experience and some might calculate it. Since this game is pretty much based on formulas and chance, you can calculate how you would do on average. However, i'm pretty sure that 95% of people say this from experience :) |

Win percentages can be calculated through battle simulations as well. For instance, Bot1: Level 43 Genreti wielding bot with: 75 Str 89 Dex 34 Cons 10 Int vs Bot2: Level 43 Truncheon bot with: 92 Str 49 Dex 57 Cons 10 Int Bot1 will win about 73% of the time, with an overall ratio of 2.7:1. |

I wrote a bot simulator in Excel to fight two bots a given number of times (30,000) to simulate the long-term outcome. Feel free to leave a build with stats and I'll tell you how it will fare against another given bot, or every other possible build at that level. |

You probably forgot about blockchance and defense... also about unique armors which give bonus stats. |

http://dl.dropbox.com/u/12679330/bts.xls Unique items aren't taken into account, so you need to add the stat benefits manually. Otherwise the highest average weapon damage and armor level is assumed for a given stat distribution. |
