I've been looking at the clan rankings and I can't figure out how the monthly energy table works.

for example, if you look at the clans Dexies Pwnage and Linex, their monthly energy is as follows:

Dexies Pwnage 67,437 (-26,963)
Linex 65,144 (+29,084)

I don't fully understand the number thats in brackets? If the number in brackets is meant to be added or subtracted from the main number then surely Linex should be above Dexies Pwnage. But, I'm guessing it doesn't work that way ha

This is probably something simple I'm missing but some clarification would be appreciated :)

its the number left to the brackets that rank it.

every bot in a clan gets 20 energy per hour. the number outside the brackets is the clans/players total energy. the number inside the brackets is the net gain/loss of energy that they have for the month. if its negative it means they have been raped a lot and lost a lot of energy, whereas if its positive they've been gaining energy by winning fights. the rankings are purely based on the number outside the brackets.

yeah, I figured. But, what is the purpose of the number in brackets?

the number in the parentheses helps esers identify the 'easy' targets

i think that may be the result of it, but I believe the intention was to allow the user to see that they are positive/negative.
