I still hold out hope that this rule doesn't go into effect. Leveling in the lower levels off other bots is so much nicer cause you can attack inactive bots that have leveled for easy xp. This rule is also tends to be abused by experienced players.

Don't have the rule activate until level 50 or so, and then only have it activate for bots that have been inactive for X days.

thats why i think there should be offline con, low level players might get 5 levels offline (ok, a little extreme) and thus effectively losing 5 levels against their competition. This is the reason why it was implemented in Bots][ back in the days...

Exactly. FloR couldn't figure out where you wanted your points. Unless there was some workshop option for offline points. +Int would make it worse because you would level faster. +Con makes your bot a little better.

If it is abused? Then oh well?

I like the idea of an option where to put offline points.

Considering how difficult this game is atm I've been looking forward to offline con coming into affect. It'll make my life much easier as currently I have no available redis points and if I put the points I gain till levl 70 onto con so I don't get totally raped I won't be able to get equalizers.

Of course I could apply the points in line with my build but str won't help me much atm. So while online my fight options are limited as I haven't applied all available points, but offline I don't get my ass totally raped off. Makes life easier for fight levelers who can't get enough redis to be optimal all the time.

Hmm writing this post almost makes me not want offline con, i like it HARDCORE, but on the other hand no, I want my 80 hp.

Also I have no argument against allowing people choose where their offline points go, this will help immensely in certain leveling circumstances or if you fuck up and don't have enough redis.
