I have a question about the chance to hit.

According to the formula i found Attack Rating [Attacker's DEX] * 2 - 8 Defense Rating [Defender's DEX] / 2 Hit Chance 100 * [Attack Rating] / ( [Attack Rating] + [Defense Rating] )

i calculated for myself, that against, (currently 82 dex on me)

X-Professional (180lvl, 100dex) i have 75% chance to hit after some training, rounding numbers in my head this roughly the chance i hit him.

and now for the other train bot (stats from http://edmazur.com/bots/training_bots.php)

X-Terminator (300lvl, 280dex), i calculate 52% chance to hit but in reality i hit him like 8-15% of the time

i wonder where is my mistake ? as defense rating i chose TrainBot's dex / 2.

ATKDex = 82 DEFDex = 100

Hitchance = 100* (156 / (156 + 50)) Hitchance = 75.7%

ATKDex = 82 DEFDex = 280

Hithcance = 100 * (156 / (156 + 140)) Hitchance = 52.7%

The thing is, You might not get enough chances to hit the the higher trainer. Few reasons :

• More Int : They get first hit
• More Damage : They kill you faster
• More Dex : Their hitchance is 93%.

So, they get more hits, you get less because of the damage, and they get more hits to kill you because their hitchance is 93%. You might get 52% hitchance if you had time to actually do that many hits, but you most likely don't.

i'l get more dex, still wonder, if our hits are calculated separately, or his high hit chance (or anything else) can offset my hit chance (table lookup) cause i always miss 5+ times in a row against lvl300 bot

But no, your hitchance is not influenced by their hitchance.

The only thing that the trainer can effect is your experience gain. Everything else is a static formula.
