Do the bonus stat points off set the better def on an armor set with roughly the same str req?

Right now I have: Str 323+14=337, Dex 99+3=102, Con 74+1=75, Int 16+27=43.

Equipment Windchaser Crown, Blood Eater, Dragon Claw, Behemoth Boots for 1028 Def.

Normal armors would give me 1300's Def.

What you've got would be good for leveling (i suppose), But if you wanted more armor then you would have armors with the contribute -int.

Other then that i don't think i understand the question

uniques are better as long they are not drastically lower defense than the available normal gear available.

After reading again..

You could pump your int (if you wish to level), and get more defense by choosing non uniques.

But after a huge stat loss and gaining a little bit of armor, i wouldn't think it's worth it.

I'm specifically looking at my helm. Windchasers only has 130D, the new Behemoth Helm, which I need 8 more strength to off set the str lost in armor switch to equip my mega mauls, has 232, 100 increase.

The normal helm I could equip would give me 335. So if I went with the norm helm I'd have 200 more defense at the loss of 8 str, 3 Dex & Int, but also with the gain of 50hp back.

This is really a survivability question. Right now I'm training on X-telligence because I can beat it regularly (for .1% of my xp in short fights). But I feel like I should be able to regularly beat higher training bots by now.

One of my bot's has similar stats to you and i train against the same training bot, though i have different armors to you.

I just have the best armors with int i could get at 330 str, but in doing this i dropped back to 300 str. I hope this helps

I guess I'm at the normal spot then without using a shield. My other bot is dex so it's fighting X-terminator for 450-500+K xp/fight.

I had a bot in Bots2 that never used unique armor from conception, was at lvl 120s and no max block, but I can't remember what training bot it fought, or what it's gains were.

I use a shield on my dex bot (Level 111), and manage to beat 180 training bot about 70% of the time for 550-700k.

I think with a better attack range on my str bot i could beat a higher training bot, with the likes of mega maul, wind hammer, etc. The damage is very varied.

This is my other bot, he fights lvl 300 (X-terminator) and gets the 400-500+K (sometimes less) as I said, but that's without buffs.

203/300/77/32 for statson this one. Pretty low int on both for trying to have lvl bots

:/ o well

That's probably good exp, im not sure
But my int bot is ALOT different, 70str,320dex etc
Yeah pretty much limited by int on how much exp you can gain

I wonder if int is better at providing better xp than increasing str and dex to fight higher lvl traning bots at some point...

Depends what your plan is with your bot i guess
If your going to redis you really don't wanna go past 40ish base int i think, but if your just going to keep leveling you probably want to be sitting around 60 int probably higher at level 130 (im guessing)

On my leveler (119), it has 245 str, 200 dex, 45 con, 40 int. It gets 450k exp from the 220 trainer and 380k exp from the 180.
