how soon after new year are the monthly trophies handed out?

I always thought it was when ender logged on and awarded them

It's still a manual process. So, when ever he logs on.

It's indeed a manual process still unfortunately and I've generally been pretty good about doing it a few minutes after the month ends. The New Year was a special case though obviously because I wasn't immediately available to do this.
