does the double shields still work?
like you cant be attacked by them?
because if so then that sucks, since high lvl energy bots will use them so their energy lvls wont decrease, because they cant be attacked.

I havent encountered any bots yet i couldnt attack. I tried to equip two shields, but that doesn't seem possible; shield always goes to the left hand. So thats good.

I asked Ender about making bots un-attackable yesterday. His reply was 'Yeah, there's not going to be a concept of "unattackable" in bots4'. So you could put the most shit stuff on your bot and it can still be attacked. I guess this is good if you had a ratio whore :D

What Voxymaus said about there not being a concept of "unattackable" in bots4 is correct.

However, the issue of bad equipment is a separate issue and, for example, I don't plan on allowing level 100 bots to equip crab whistlers. This can be enforced in the showroom without introducing a concept of "unattackable".

Then what would happen if you never buy better weapons?

Say the workshop won't let you buy daggers if you're level 20 or higher, what if you get level 20 while still using daggers?

If you never upgrade from your crab whistlers, you're not going to rack up tons of wins to have a ratio that could be abused. Plus it would be a ton of work, so I don't really see that being a problem. And if it does become a problem, there could just be some magical "a fairy came and gave you an a (better weapons)" event.

So if i can level to 300 with daggers, with every point in con, you would auto-give me dia-katanas?

The restriction would probably be based on the sum of your strength and dexterity, and not on your level.
