1) does unspent points count as con whilst online?
2) is the exp formula different if opponent is online?

1) Nope. I always liked that feature though.

2) No but it could be a useful deterrent if it was. If you had a level 25 bot or something and somebody attacks it it currently gets 100% xp. If it was 5% of that amount or so then people wouldn't online as much. The downsides are that people would just windump using this method at their current level or around it etc. (they already do it anyway at a lower level) and that people would likely just always stay online/people would just wait until they logged off. That's what people used to do on bots2.

Or alternatively we could have a more proactive xp system that doesn't just let you gain 10 levels at once. If training was the best possible method to gain xp then people would likely fight less. It could be such at say at level 25 or so if you attack another player the total xp would be cut down based on ratio. Say a 0.00 bot still gives 20 xp but instead of a 3.00+ bot giving like 10k xp it gives 100 xp. At higher levels like level 100+ the xp would be back at 100% of the value. So in my example the 3.00 ratio bot would be back giving its normal 10k xp but at its equivalent value at level 100. Yet training bots would still give their current values.

See? I just solved onlining for you guys! Low levels don't have the online problem anymore and the higher levels aren't affected! Win win!

Just to confirm, I took a quick peek at the code and I'm pretty sure the answer is indeed no to both.

Unspent points going towards CON was something bots2 did and I had kicked around the idea of doing it for bots4, but am pretty sure I never ended up doing it.

Who needs CON anyway? CON is for bots with no STR....

The answer to pretty much any question you have on this game is no.
