Any suggestions on what stats to work towards?

I think that is too early to be using a shield, maybe you should dual wield. Try to get some unique armors too.

As for weapons, filleter is 5 DEX away. Garish epee is 18 DEX away. Dicer is 31 DEX and 1 STR away.

Thanks for the advice on the weapons. I'm thinking I will aim for Garish epee.

Put your stats in here, it'll allow you too see what kind of weapons are armour you can wear, and how much stuff will cost too.
