You'll need dex to beat high level train bots. Aim for the STR necessary to have good equipments then pump dex. Also training with a shield gives you more xp per train.

most of the high lvls play 8+ hours a day, which helps alot lol

Yup, most days I train for more than eight hours easy. It helps if you have a job involving computers, or are around computers a lot. It takes next to no effort, all you need to do is click a link in the corner of your screen twice a minute.

So my advice is if you want to be a hardcore levelling bot, set up your desktop so that there is ALWAYS a tiny browser window in the corner of your screen. Trust me, time will come that you don't even notice you're clicking. I know it's become second nature to me. I am around computers a LOT though.

And I know this is pretty obvious stuff, but aside from this, there isn't really anything else to suggest as levelling advice, with the exception maybe of "don't make a stupid build."

The awkward moment when you're not sure if neps is making a funny or being serious :S :L As you can see he is on 9hrs 40mins per day. As he is the highest lvl, you will have to be on for a similar amount of time or more to surpass him.

Don't see how anyone would think I was being sarcastic, that post is 100% good advice.

Min con for almost the entire time. I would say like 1/3 of your level should be your base int (Not 100% sure on that, maybe neps can confirm). And balanced builds are the best way to go once you get into the 100's. A shield is mandatory and it's best if you keep your block rate maxed at 70%.

Never made a leveling bot myself, this is all just what I've heard from others.

Min CON is all right until you start training on EL TERMINATORE or Terror Inc. Being able to beat those trainbots with a decent win rate will blast you through 150-180. With min CON, you'll burn through buffs too fast to get any good EXP out of them. At level 170ish I'd suggest at THE VERY LEAST 75 total CON.

I wouldn't set such a rigid rule for how much INT is optimal. It's pretty much a question of: "Will adding X INT bring me more EXP than than the gear upgrade from X stats helping me to beat the next trainbot?" Naturally the answer to this question depends on your build, and where you are. For example, level 1 to 100, even levelling on 10 base shouldn't be too hard with INT armors. 100 to 200 is still relatively easy with 45 base INT. Up to 200, you should be mostly focused on being able to beat the higher trainbots. The EXP modifiers make rushing "trainbot killing power" worth it up to Cyborg LX, the last modifier increase.

At 200, it's your choice, stack on INT, or whatever, but at least try to get a decent win-rate against Cyborgie first, because you two are going to be best buds for a long time.

Another mistake I see many make is to get stuck in the mindset that "I'm a levelling bot, I should have INT armors." That is not the case. For example, if you have a decent amount of base INT, say, 60-70, Hellguard > Blood Eater. Levelling, I used Corpsemourn over Shroud of Mystery, because it let me beat higher trainbots and get both better EXP/hour and EXP/train.

Finally, don't rush kevlar, unless you really want to sacrifice EXP/hour for practicality. Unless you are highly CON'd, kevlar doesn't become the optimal training suit for a LONG time. I personally never used full kevlar on this bot for more than a few dozen, because both in sims and my actual tests uniques have proved to be better. At the moment I use a combination of uniques and kevlar.

P.S. Well what'd'ya know, I did have more to type in this thread.

you should get good armours first. after getting a good absorb, con and dex will be more important to beat high level bots.

Stonham3122: i think it's better to pump str first then dex. like esv had said, get better equipments first to help you out in your stats/defense then add dex for whatever weapon path you're aiming with.

So, just to clarify, by the advice given, my current build has too much con, too much int, and I should be balancing out my str/dex?

Current build:

Level 142 power answerers (x2) (Load)
