Not sure if you changed the chat button to not have [#] and now the online page also shows a "-" where the word chat used to be in dark gray.

Thanks, this is fixed now. Jane (the game IRC bot) dies every now and then and stops reporting stats to the server.

that makes sense. figured you might have done an update or something with chat and broke it possibly lol.

The webchat is hosted on quakenet.org, which appears to be down for just you (it works for me).

It's probably just an intermittent network issue preventing you from reaching quakenet.org. Try again tomorrow and see if it works.

If it still doesn't, you can download a standalone IRC client to connect to the chat.

well i just tried on both firefox and ie (and those are the only 3 browsers i have) none of them work

i tried, i failed. but at least i can admit to my failure.

i guess my luck just hates me sigh oh well

ok i just downloaded and installed this mirc thing and i still get the same error, maybe i just dont know how to rtech savy enough and use this chat function properly, oh well. thanks for the help guys

Hmm, I guess maybe their web servers and chat servers are colocated. Anyway, try again tomorrow.
