You don't have to initiate the fight to get that trophy.

I believe he meant he was hit in the battle, that's how it reads anyhow.

Same thing just happened to me. Got hit with a 63 damage attack and still was given "Can't Touch This."

The trophy, like most, is given after you actually obtain the requirements for it. Meaning you most likely acquired it the fight before and it showed up after you clicked fight again.

A few possibilities on what happened:

1. Someone else attacked you and that's how you got the trophy (you don't have to initiate the attack).
2. You beat someone without getting hit in the previous fight, and then the game notified you of the trophy when you reloaded the page for the next fight. I don't know offhand if this is how it works (as opposed to being notified on the actual fight which unlocked it), but if it does work that way, that sounds pretty likely.
3. There's a bug.
