Had this error twice today now, time stamp is around 5:32:40 pm if that helps. The last time it was after submitting a captcha, not sure if thats what triggered it or just trying to fight again.

I get this a lot - like Gpof I get it only using google chrome.

Also getting this using Firefox.

close all browsers start - CMD(command prompt) ipconfig /flushdns

solved it for me

Sounds like the intermittent captcha issues that were reported about a month ago - http://bots4.net/forum/3/5119. Has this continued?

I too have had this problem in chrome for a while, most recently yesterday

Chrome, getting the problem over and over to the point I can't pass the captcha to fight. Last ~10 fights from "Wednesday, July 10, 2013, 9:21:10 am (ET)" if you want to look at the log

Captcha is back, and so is errors :(

I'd enabled it to see if the issue had gone away because I can't reproduce it locally. It's disabled again now; I'll try enabling it again later.

My only guess as to what's happening is that this is an intermittent recaptcha outage.

Actually, it looks like this might be a known issue with the recaptcha library I'm using. I won't have a chance to play around with it until tomorrow night, so expect to see this issue possibly return until then. I'll leave captcha off in the meantime, but will periodically come back and try reenabling it.

just for the record, im not having any socket problems with captcha and havent had it for the formentioned period of the resent posters, and im only playing on chrome.

I reenabled captcha 2-3 hours after my last post and haven't heard about any problems since. I'll look into seeing if I can update/patch the library I'm using so that this won't be a problem in the future.
