I tried it and can't connect either. Probably a temporary issue.

Quakenet says their network is running fine though;

This is beyond Ender's control, it's not part of the game.

Yes, but so are you and me. It's a general problem; this doesn't work either http://webchat.quakenet.org/ - i get the same error connecting with a random name to a random channel.

Is this still happening? I just tried webchat and it worked for me. In the future, you could try a standalone client like mIRC if webchat isn't working.

You can connect to QuakeNet using a normal IRC client in the mean time, however we strongly advise you check your PC or network for problems. Well as it says, you're blocked by Quakenet. Temporarily or permanently.

Not likely you personally, more likely it's a subnet range for your area due to people in your area causing issues.

As I said in response to your bmail, now posted here for the benefit of all:

Did you do something that may have caused QuakeNet to ban you? I don't have any control or sway over that, if so. The error message indicates the ban may be specific to webchat, so you could try a standalone client like mIRC and see if that works. Also, inquiries of this nature should go on the bugs forum instead of being sent to me directly.
