lots of times when i verify email i get the: <the link you used was either expired, incorrect, or already used> msg.

but.. it was not expired, nor incorrect and neither used. when i check the verified bot, it still worked, yay me.

dunno if this is a real bug or why it would even matter to me what msg i get, as long as it works.. but hey.. complainers are gainers..

like just now i verified 7 bots, i get the good msg the first time and the bad msg the last 6 times. tho i am not smart, i do am dumb.. so maybe the problem lies in the multiplies?

(Note: I edited your post to the fix the formatting of < and > because those symbols and the error message between them weren't showing up.)

What's most likely happening is that the "already used" case is being triggered because something is visiting the link before you think you're doing so for the first time. This could be accidental double-click, an email virus scanner that visits links for you to warn you of suspicious content, and so on.

If you share a specific example (date and bot id) where this has happened, I can take a closer look for you.

all technical mumbojumbo to me :') you lost me at "note"

when i get it again and i remember in time, all try to copy something. for the rest its not really a big deal, as long as it works, it works.. me as sort of an ancient anti-nerd (is that term still ok to use for computer specialists?) i am always happy if i can just do want i want to do.. the frequennt error messaging im kinda used to all my life :')

Ha, fair enough. Well if you can point me at an example, I can take a closer look - just let me know.
