A setting that allows you to choose criteria for items displayed in the showroom? Only matching items will show, sparing you from having to scroll through the lists. The chances that an item will show up in the first place would obviously remain the same, but you wouldn't have to look through a bunch of stuff that you aren't interested in every refresh.
Could for example be set to show:
- uniques only
- uniques with bonuses to specific stats only
- uniques that give at least +x to a certain stat
- weapons above/below a certain min/max/avg damage
- only items you have the stats for (and therefore can buy)
- specific items
- items above/below a certain cost
- items above/below certain requirements
- only one or two out of the four armor categories
- combination of the above
You could come up with an almost endless amount of criteria and combinations of such, which might make it a little too complicated, but still, some very basic functionality like this might be a nice thing to have.

its called "camping" for a reason.

Sorry Vippy but I really dislike this idea.
Camping is essentially like the January sales, it takes speed & stamina to get the items you want. Oh & most importantly luck :P
Your suggestion is essentially a shopping script that only shows exactly what you want.
If you really want to take the pain out of camping invest in stars & reap the benefits of ordering.

The intention wasn't to make camping any easier as such. You would still have to sit in the showroom, potentially for many hours, and update it every 60 seconds to see if the items you're after are available. The idea was simply to save the time and effort of scrolling through the list every update, through all the items you don't care about. Essentially it only saves a few seconds per update if you're focusing on your camping, nothing further. If you're after an item that always shows up on the first page (fairly high-end or really low-end, depending on your settings), it pretty much already always works like this - you see the item right away without any input after refreshing.
Personally I don't mind the current implementation, it was just another idea for more clean interface, so to speak.

I have the showroom scrollbars disabled (workshop > settings > mobile support) so that the whole list shows up. I find it helps when camping.

That does indeed help, thank you. Must have missed that option somehow. With it, I can usually fit the entire armor list and the top 5-10 weapons on my screen at the same time, which makes it way simpler.
