Since there are probably going to be at least a hundred people online at all times when the game is released, I would guess that it's going to be unbelievably frustrating to camp gear early on. To prevent this, maybe the showroom could be stocked with multiples of each item for the first day(s) of the release?
I guess some people might enjoy the feeling of snatching some gear before 10 other people, but I imagine most people would find it annoying to have to wait 30 mins to get a spiked club or something.

That's the problem though isn't it? It's kinda difficult to level when you're using crappy gear. There will be a pretty significant shortage of mauls/scarabs/etc. the first few days since every bot needs two weapons. This will also be a problem for low level uniques eg. Tarnhelm, which I'm sure everyone would want at some stage.

I kinda like the scarcity. Creates a trade-off between trying to get ahead right away vs. holding off for less competition.

Ok, so we can order in advance but the stash will be cleared? I like. Not much of a bonus but some help. Can only order one unique or couple of non-uniques anyway.
